The facuklty was established in 1994. Its founders intended to enrich the existing range of architectural education models with a different and new aspect, and succeeded in doing so.
- The course of study is perceived as an opportunity for discussion among students and lecturers, enabling common search and findings. Through such dialogue, the faculty aims to raise broadly educated architects and artists. The course of study offers higher education while its art, humanities and technical components are in balance.
- During the course of study, a special emphasis is placed on studio work. Considering the provision of a permanent work space to every student, there is a requirement for all the studio tasks to be completed in the studio and in the lecturer’s presence while being engaged in a permanent dialogue with the lecturer. Not only architectural and artistic, but also construction design tasks and tasks related to other professions are dealt with in the studios.
