Faculty of Mechatronics, Informatics and Interdisciplinary Studies

The faculty was established in 1995 as the faculty focusing especially on fields that combine technical disciplines (electronics, controlling, measuring) with informatics and natural sciences (mathematic and modeling).

  • FM TUL provides and guarantees the expert level for all three study program types.
  • The basic and especially the applied research and development focus on the area that reflects the professional orientation of three institutes, i.e. the Institute of Information Technologies and Electronics, the Institute of Mechatronics and Computer Engineering, and the Institute of New Technologies and Applied Informatics.
