As part of the research stay of Vice-Dean Assoc. Prof. Valtera in February 2023, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is establishing new prosperous cooperation with Chiang Mai University in Northern Thailand. The goal of cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering CMU and other faculties is to expand collaboration in addressed engineering topics in both education and research areas. Both universities expressed their interest by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
The initiated partnership with CMU has been followed by the visit of Dr. Onřej Matúšek from the Department of Glass Producing Machines and Robotics, who further develops of one of the key topics related to robotics and automation. Follow-up from Dr. Matúšek´s visit at CMU can be found here.
