Fees and Costs of Living

The cost of living in the Czech Republic is considered affordable. The average cost of living ranges from USD 350 to 750 per month, including food, accommodation, public transport and culture. Of course, prices can vary depending on accommodation choices, lifestyle and spending habits.

Application fee for studies (one-time):

  • 100 USD (2000 CZK)

Fee for recognition/evaluation of previous higher education (one-time):

  • 3000 CZK (ca 150 USD)

Tuition fees for programmes taught in English (for the academic year):

  • 4000 USD (Bachelor and Master Programmes)
  • 2000 USD (Doctoral Programmes)

Estimated cost of living associated with studying in Liberec:

  • ~ 500 USD/month
