Mechanical Engineering (B0715A270009): this programme prepares students for further studies in technical Master programmes. Graduates have the theoretical basis of technical disciplines (mathematics, physics, chemistry and mechanics) and Mechanical Engineering branches as well (materials and technologies, machine design). They understand the methods and processes leading to problem solving in the fields of Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. They are able to express their own opinions and to defend the results of their work. They can apply the knowledge when solving technical assignments.
The standard duration of this programme is three years. The academic title „Bachelor“(“Bc. “, in front of the name) is awarded upon graduation by passing the state final examination, including the defence of the Bachelor thesis. Bachelor courses leading to the degree of Bc. equivalent to B. Sc. or B.A.
