Technical University of Liberec

The Technical University of Liberec (TUL) is the oldest university institution in the Nothern Bohemia. TUL has an enrolment more than ten thousands students. TUL provides college education and completes scientific, research, and development activities.

The academic programmes offered at the University, and the research performed by the academics, is of great benefit to the City of Liberec and its surrounding region. Universitys graduates are able to satisfy the local demand for specialists in engineering, textile industries, elementary and junior high school teachers, architects, economists and business specialists.

The academics and students take part in research and co-operate closely with other foreign universities. Thanks to the Municipal and Regional authorities, the university acquired new buildings, which enabled it to set up additional classrooms and laboratories. It was also possible to increase the universitys library holdings of resource materials, and improve its information system.

The Technical University of Liberec is a dynamic university of medium size that joins forms of technical and university education.
