Master Studies

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering offers three Master's degree programmes taught in English: Innovation and Industrial Engineering (N0788A270005), Machines and Equipment Design (N0715A270018) and Materials and Technology (N0715A270016).

 

Standard length of studies: 2 years
Title: engineer (Ing.)
Study form: full time

Fee / Academic year: 4000 USD (Study in English). We can your reimburse part of the costs in the form of a merit or extraordinary scholarship if you achieve extraordinary academic results and fulfil the conditions set out in the TUL Scholarship Regulations and the directive of the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Study in Czech language is free of charge (the fee is sponsored by the Czech government).

Innovation and Industrial Engineering

Innovation and Industrial Engineering

Master study programme Innovation and Industrial Engineering is young and modern study field reflecting the needs of manufacturing companies. Students will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in innovation of a product and design and optimization of manufacturing process of a product. Students will gain knowledge of mechanical engineering extended by specific methods of innovation engineering, creativity and industrial engineering.

This study programme Machines and Equipment Design is aimed to promote the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, research, and development and to lead students to apply this knowledge and develop their creative facilities. The graduates will have basic knowledge in the field of machine engineering and specific knowledge of machines and equipment design.

Materials and Technology

Students graduating from the Materials and Technologies programme will gain knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials, their technological processing and subsequent use in a wide range of applications. They will learn about the processing of materials and the evaluation of their performance in terms of the internal structure of materials, physical chemistry, thermodynamics and mechanics
