ARR Marketing Workshop
July 23 – The Regional Development Agency hosted an event for start-up and established businesses and local marketers. Associate professor Vlastimil Hotař presented the first TUL spin-off Glassiteca s.r.o., which comes to the market with an innovative glass material, glass porous plasticine. The material originated two years ago from the Department of Glass producing machines and robotics FME TUL. The founding team of Glassiteca s.r.o. is multidisciplinary, consisting of experienced researchers, academics and business and marketing experts. One of the shareholders is the university's subsidiary The University Company TUL.

ŠKODA Formuláq
July 23 – ŠKODA AUTO Kariéra has organised a great ŠKODA Formuláq event for the Czech Formula Student teams again this year! Thanks to them, the TUL team also had the opportunity to try out static disciplines in front of the jury and go through technical acceptance and get feedback before the race. Thanks to the whole Škoda Auto team for a great event and for the support they have given us for several years now.

Formula Student East
July 28 to August 3 – TUL University's Formula Student Racing team won an excellent third place in the Business Plan Presentation discipline at the Formula Student East competition at the Hungaroring.
