June, 2 – Traditionally, this time for the 17th year of the competition.
IEP 2025+ International Assessment of Universities
June, 3–4 – The Technical University of Liberec is currently being evaluated by an International Evaluation Panel (MEP) composed of internationally renowned experts who respect the disciplinary structure of TUL. The panel is led by Prof. Yordan Kyosev from TU Dresden. As part of the process, we had the honour to present our faculty within the disciplinary group "Engineering and Technology", especially in the areas of science, research, innovation and their social contribution. The results of the evaluation will be known this autumn. Overview 2014–2019.
The Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University “The 55th Anniversary Celebration"
June – We are very glad and honoured to be part of the International Networking Symposium at the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University and are looking forward to further collaboration with Chiang Mai University. Huge thanks to our collaborators Dr. Pinyo Puangmali and Dr. Faifan Tantakitti for amazing hospitality and to our colleague assoc. prof. Vlastimil Hotař for a wonderful representation of Technická univerzita v Liberci and our Faculty. We are confident, that both the students and the academics are going to gain valuable knowledge and skills from the established partnership.
On-line Workshop on Robotics and Automation – Tools for effective hands-on engineering education
June, 4 – Organized by the Faculty of mechanical Engineering of TUL together with the Faculty of Engineering of Chiang Mai University.
Meeting of the Industrial Board FME TUL
June, 6 – At the Faculty we welcomed representatives of industry to another meeting of the Industrial Board of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUL. Together we discussed how to further strengthen technical education, connect students with practice and monitor the employability of our graduates on the labour market.
Competition for the best educational model made by 3D printing
June, 13 –- 4th year of the competition organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of TUL presented a showcase of great ideas and workmanship. On display were an interactive cell model, a nuclear power plant, a mechanical integrator, combustion engine wiring, a variator and many other interesting teaching aids. The jury and the audience were most impressed by the educational model of switch wiring, complete with 3D printed light bulbs, created by the team of the František Křižík University of Applied Sciences. The Prusa Research Prize went to students from Masaryk Gymnasium Pilsen for their beautifully designed interactive plant cell. Thanks to all the teams for their great work - it was obvious that they really enjoy it! Proceedings at the Technical University of Sofia / Sofiйски университет Sv. Kliment Ohridski
June, 23 to 26 – Our colleagues Dr. Totka Bakalova and Ing. Marcela Válková completed their Erasmus+ stay in Plovdiv at the Technical University of Sofia. During the visit, discussions were held with the university management on the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of mobility, on the preparation of international BIP courses and on joint international research projects. They met with Erasmus coordinator doc. Sevil Ahmed and also visited the CLAP Applied Physics Laboratory, where our PhD student from the Department of Materials Michal Krafka is currently on a three-month internship.
Five of our international students have successfully completed their studies in follow-up Master's programmes
June, 26 – This week we met with them to evaluate their study journey together and to get valuable feedback on their studies and professional practice with our industrial partners. We believe that they will be great ambassadors for future international students and that our paths will continue to meet.
Graduation Ceremony
June, 27 – The graduation ceremony took place. Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUL doc. Jaromír Moravec handed diplomas to 59 graduates of Bachelor's studies and 62 graduates of Master's studies.Congratulations and best wishes for professional and personal success!
