BlockBees hosts client ASIC miners at a surplus hydroelectric power plant in Ethiopia, connected directly to the electricity backbone. The project aims for energy efficient operation, decentralisation and, in the near future, sustainable heat recovery for projects such as fruit and meat drying and cricket and warm water fish farming. The team also sees a very interesting direction in water desalination or in the textile industry.
