The Initiation of Sustainable Energy Community for the City of Liberec
The Statutory City of Liberec has received a grant from the European Union to set up a so-called community energy system. Liberec is the only Czech city selected among 100 climate-neutral and smart cities. The Statutory City of Liberec is the only Czech city chosen by the European Commission to join the EU's Mission 100, which aims to ensure 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 and enable these cities to act as experimental and innovation hubs for all European cities. This mission is an instrument of the Horizon Europe programme supporting the Green Deal for Europe.
